It is with great pleasure that the TikiWiki community publishes the second release candidate for TikiWiki 2.0
Tiki 2.0 was formally known as Tiki 1.10, however, with all the amazing new features & enhancements, it deserves to be called 2.0 :-) This is the next generation of TikiWiki. Special thanks to the countless people that made this release possible. Over 2 years of work and thousands of code commits!

TikiFest is a tradition in the TikiWiki community. A TikiFest is when there is a meeting between at least 2 TikiWiki contributors that don't meet usually. This is an occasion usually for drinking adult beverages, getting laptops out and coding wildly in group sessions, discussing about wiki technology and culture, etc. depending the mood and context. It is a great opportunity for Tiki users and Tiki power users to meet some of the developers and learn more stuff :-)
Those that can't attend physically will participate online (bug tracker, chat, forums, mailing lists and the wiki of course)
What does this mean for you?

The next major version of TikiWiki CMS/Groupware is now undergoing beta testing in preparation for release. The current version being tested is Beta 1. If you want to help with beta testing, check out Branch110Beta for more information, or read what's new in Tikiwiki 1.10. Thanks to all who helped to test, debug, document, and package in the days prior to the beta release and thanks in advance to all doing further testing and documentation. This is a real community wide effort.
